On my heart
I don’t usually post on Saturday’s, so this is a really brief one; over the past couple of days God has impressed on me a simple statement:
Expect God to Act
I realise that I shouldn’t actually be surprised when God does act in my life, that I should look for it and acknowledge it, and most of all, I should expect it! God does act, God will act.

Yes, Mark, God does answer prayer; thought we are like you and pray, pray, pray. Then, when God answers our prayer, many times, we are shocked. Our lives should not be that way; but, maybe it is human nature which causes it.
I love to see HIM answer prayer!!

I have seen God’s Hand at work in my life and every time, I am so filled with awe that He would help this poor child. I expect it, but it still leaves me breathless and humble when He works in my life. Every day He seems to work something new, sometimes small, sometimes big. I hope I never lose that sense of awe and never take His work for granted, but be thankful and humble every time He acts for me.
Thank you for the encouragement today. I have been waiting patiently for deliverance out of a difficult season. Praising God and thanking him in advance for his deliverance.

Yes,, Rev. Mark, once again another perfect timing to recieve from word from the Lord’s word. Thank you and bless you always. Our little town is believing for a miricle cure for, Cara, a young 30 yr old, wife and mother of 2 babies, one is 2 the other 8 wks. old. She is battling brain cancer that has intertwained throughout her brain. They did surgery, yesterday, Mar. 27th, on one side got most of it, but the other side is worse. She is on chemo now along with other treatments. So we have been sending out prayer request in email list. Believing and standing in the gap for Cara, all in name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.. Amen We are expecting God To Act.. Amen and Amen
I pray for God’s will to be done for Cara. Right now, God is doing more than we can ask or imagine.

Yes Mark God does act,The more I seek the face of God the more he does act and enteracts with me.When I set aside one certain time each day ,became faithful to meet him.God was faithful to meet me in the woods at a rock.Also when I ask things according to his will ,God did deliver.I also stand in the Gap for others in the woods and in my prayer closet.I ask God to heal people to bless ministries of people.With my mouth and the Bible I fight satan and his demons.Fasting is a big part of effective warfare.Somethings only come by fasting and prayer.Adrienne taught me one thing that is vey important some times we need to get alone with God just to listen..God bless you ,I pray for you, your ministry and your personal family.your prayer warrior Dorthy

I needed to hear someone say that today. Thank you, Mark. I would appreciate your prayers for me as I wait on the Lord for a job. I have been unemployed almost 4 months. It’s a difficult place to walk, but I am expecting treasures from darkness. I am hanging onto the expectation that God will act.
It has been my experience that God does act, it is just rarely in the way that we anticipate, and sometimes in a way that we do not recognize unless we are attuned to Him. Blessings, and thank you for this wonderful Journey.
It is so good to have you back. This is a good word for due season. Actually it is confirmation on two accounts. A financial breakthrough, and my Senior Pastor needs a great healing from cancer report. I am expecting God to act in these situations, and thank you for the Word, (that you usually don’t write on Saturdays)! As world events stand, I have strong convictions of ths being on my own heart and probably the hearts of many. The world is rapidly changing before our eyes, more in this generation then any other. Especially the dynamic shift of idealogy here in the United States. I firmly believe God is going to act in our live individually in universally, in a more profound way than in the day to day.
This is the day that the Lord has made,let us rejoice and be glad in it.Bless you Rev.Mark for the good work that your’e doing and yes God will act at anytime He pleases cause He’s always at work,He never slumbers nor sleep.I’m praising God with you and my prayers go out for Cara and her family.I will also bring her up before the throne of God with my intercessory group in the morning.God bless.

Alot of times I’m in awe of the things that God has done in my life. We do have to come and expect that he will act,but sometimes we think that it has to be the way we want, not knowing that his way is better than we could imagine. That is why I surrender my life to God and ask him to guide me in whatever he is going to do in my life. I pray for Carrie and her family as they go thru this storm in thier lives. Know and expect that he will carry you thru this and everything. God Bless.

While you had this simple revelation. I also have had one on the same day. “Action” is showing your faith. I am on the streets talking to many people about God and they love God and don’t go to an American Church. They are worshiping in their own way in their own streets. The one way I really think God has been acting is through our faithful actions on the streets.
I love you and thank you for sharing your faith Mark. Words are dead if they don’t cause us to Act for the God we love.
